We use read-only access via Gmail, Outlook and Open Banking (powered by Yapily, FCA regulated). We never store your login credentials and can never move your money.

Why We Built It

We built Paybacker because we were tired of overpaying. The average UK household wastes hundreds of pounds a year on bills they could reduce — simply because switching providers is tedious, confusing and easy to put off.

Paul is a UK consumer rights advocate who built Paybacker after being overcharged one too many times. A £400 energy bill that was never justified. A gym contract with a cancellation clause buried in paragraph 14. Three streaming subscriptions running on a card he barely used.

He knew the tools to fight back existed in UK law. The Consumer Rights Act 2015, Ofgem's billing codes, UK261 for flight delays. But most people don't have the time or legal knowledge to use them effectively. He built Paybacker to change that.
